Greg Romero is an experienced IT leader with 37 years in the telecommunications, financial services and card industries. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCOM), he oversees IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives. Prior to this, he founded and managed RT E-Solutions Inc., providing IT services across various sectors. Greg has held senior roles at Globe Telecom, including CIO and Head of Solutions Delivery, where he led transformation projects and managed key IT operations. His career also includes leadership positions at City Savings Bank, DBS Bank Philippines, Bankard, Inc., and Citibank, specializing in IT architecture, infrastructure, and systems development. Greg is a recognized leader in aligning IT with business goals, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. He holds a BS in Mathematics, majoring in Computer Science, from Ateneo de Manila University.
